Updating Polls
Under Polls, you can edit and copy portal polls as you do with the content carousel content.
Add a question on the Content tab, e.g. 'How long have you worked for our company' and supply the answer alternatives on the Options section. The checkbox Correct and section Feedbacks can be ignored in this case. You can add multiple options at the bottom of the page by clicking on Add option.
Adding Material and News
Go to the Community tab on Gimlet LMS, choose a portal and click on Dynamic content.
First, you need to define the language of the materials. This is done by clicking on Create language version.
Add a name, e.g. English, if you are publishing content on the English-language portal, then choose the
language from the drop-down menu.
If you leave the language selection empty, the materials and news added in the folder will be visible on all
language versions. If the content is to be visible for everyone regardless of the language, you can name it, for example, 'Material visible for all'.
You can add materials and/or news under the language version by adding a content folder by clicking on
Add content type on the language version drop-down menu.
You can name the new folder according to the content: are you adding a material folder or news?
When you have created the main folder, you can add materials and news by choosing Add content from
the drop-down menu of the folder you just created.
Give a descriptive name to the content and explain briefly what the content is. Add your material via the Gimlet LMS media bank by clicking on Add attachment, or change an existing attachment by first Removing the old file and then uploading the new one. When you are finished, click Save.
You can add multiple attachments to news, but you can only add one file as a material.
The content is now visible on the learning portal.
