The content and features on the learning portal can be updated in the Gimlet LMS admin on the Community tab. Open the structure you wish to alter on the learning portal by clicking on the name of the learning portal.
Updating the Content Carousel
You can update the content carousel on the learning portal front page by opening the desired language
version (e.g. fi) and then opening Content and content carousel.
In order to edit existing content, click open an element, for example -- item 1 --.
You can edit the Title and Content and change the Image on the carousel. The optimal image size for the carousel is 1140x335. Please note that the font needs to be visible against the image on the background (e.g. left side of the image is white). The image must be uploaded to the Gimlet LMS image bank before it can be added to the carousel.
If you want to create new content, copy the latest content from the drop-down menu by clicking on Duplicate as not published.
Edit the content, and when you are done, publish the content by clicking on Publish/unpublish.
Similarly, if you wish to remove content from the portal carousel, you can hide it by clicking on Publish/unpublish. Content in grey is not visible on the learning portal.
Your update will be visible on the portal within 24 hours, or if you want to make the changes immediately visible, click on Publish. This will immediately publish your changes on the portal. Update the browser also on the learning portal side if the change is not immediately visible after you click on Publish.
