You can send a link that opens directly a specific course or page on the portal to the users that are members of a learning portal. The user must have SSO access to the learning portal and access to the course for the link to work. The link can only open a specific course or you can make a link that also opens the learning portal in the background. In addition to this, it is possible to make a link that opens a page of the learning path, phase or course.
1. DIRECT LINK TO THE COURSE:
https:// PORTAL_ADDRESS/ <language>/sso/?courseid= <Course-id>&popup=false
An example of a Finnish language portal
https://mps.portal.gimletlms.com/fi/sso/?courseid=df71f036-6479-4ed7-a5c2-d291d19b50d6&popup=false
2. A DIRECT LINK TO THE COURSE AND THE PORTAL OPENS IN THE BACKGROUND:
https:// PORTAL_ADDRESS/<language>/sso/?courseid= <Course-id>
An example of a English language portal
https://mps.portal.gimletlms.com/en/sso/?courseid= df71f036-6479-4ed7-a5c2-d291d19b50d6
3. LINK TO THE LEARNING PATH, PHASE OR COURSE PAGE:
https:// PORTAL_ADDRESS/<language>/sso/?redirectid=<ID>
An example of a Finnish language portal
https://mps.portal.gimletlms.com/fi/sso/?redirectid= df71f036-6479-4ed7-a5c2-d291d19b50d6
You can get the ID from the browser's address bar, for example:
training portal when that page is selected.
Gimlet LMS address bar when the course is active.
