First, make sure you have a good understanding of your organization’s strategic targets. You can find them on your personal dashboard under Company strategy. Based on this, reflect on and define the team targets for the development period for your own team.
Then publish your team targets on Trilliant:
- Go to your Team Leader view
- Click Add new in the Team targets section
- Add a team target and a clear description, and. On the same form, link it the team target to the company's strategic targets where applicable (the strategic targets can be found in the dropdown menu). Also select all strategic competences that are linked to that team target.
Once you have defined the targets for your team, click on Start development discussion process under the team targets. Team members can then start preparing for their development discussions using the Trilliant form that has now been automatically populated with your new team targets.
Before each development discussion, prepare for the discussion by familiarizing yourself with the team member’s development discussion notes on Trilliant. You can also write down your own thoughts on the form. Finally, click Proceed to complete your own preparation. After this, you will have access to the actual development discussion form.
