Custom page layout allows you to more freely define the placement of different content elements on the course page. For example, you can start by first selecting one of the predefined page layouts and start editing it. For example, just move the page component you want to use to a new location.
Using the exact placement option, you can place the element exactly where you want it. With normal placement, the system automatically fine-tunes the placement between different elements.
Place each element individually by selecting its position, size and layer either behind or on top of other elements. You can remove an element from the view altogether, so that it is not visible to the course visitor at all. The removed element will be moved to its own "unplaced elements" section where you can reposition it, for example on another floor. You can create as many layers as you like on the page, depending on what best serves your needs.
Click on the tab to change the layer you are viewing.
If you change the page layout from a custom layout back to one of the predefined layouts, you will lose the definitions you have made. The system will warn you of this separately.
