If generative AI has been enabled in Composer, you can add task pages using AI assistance in addition to the normal method.
AI-based page types are highlighted in blue.
Select the desired page/task type from the menu.
The form that opens allows you to configure the settings for page generation.
Select the page area (start page and end page) from the course content whose content material will be used, for example, in this case, to create a multiple-choice assignment. You can also select pages from the page area whose content will not be used as a source.
Then select the number of task pages to be generated. You can create multiple pages at once.
You can choose either a assessment or reflective style for the task.
Select the difficulty level from a three-level selection.
You can specify additional instructions for the AI if necessary, or if you have not selected source material from the course pages, additional specification is mandatory. Otherwise, the content cannot be generated.
Once the specifications are complete, start the generation by clicking the "Generate" button.
You will then see a preview of the content created by the AI. You can ask the AI to regenerate individual tasks, delete individual tasks, or return to the previous settings by clicking the "Edit prompt" button.
Finally, approve the generated tasks to add them to the course structure or cancel the operation by clicking the "Cancel" button.
