You can use AI for translation if your organisation has implemented Composer's AI translation tool.
Start your AI translation by navigating to the course you want to translate. Click on the "Translate" menu in the top right corner of the course and select AI translation underneath.
Select whether you want to create a new course for translation or perform the translation on top of the existing course. Also specify the language you want to translate the course into. You can also choose whether or not to use a translation dictionary in the translation. When you are done, click "Translate".
The translation glossary is shared by the whole organization and can be used for AI translations. The glossary can be used to define terms that are not translated at all, or terms that are given a desired equivalent in selected target languages.
The Translation Glossary can be accessed from the Composer main view, i.e. the course list, by selecting "Translation Glossary" from the left menu. You can add a new term by clicking on the "+ Add new" button. Existing terms can be edited using the pencil icon shown opposite. If you do not want a term to be translated at all, leave the source language blank.
AI translation may in some situations change the layout/formatting of the text and this is a feature of AI. This functionality is under continuous development and the aim is to preserve as much as possible the original design by just translating the texts.
