Trilliant permissions are set according to the user's role. Multiple roles can be added to the same user. The most extensive access rights are for the root role, which allows access to all functionalities of the system. The employee role has the most limited access rights, with access only to the sections intended for the person himself.
If you are also using the Composer content creation tool, then you will also have Composer-related user roles available for selection in the user roles. These roles are marked with an asterisk in the list below.
Trilliant user roles
HR
- Rights: Access and edit rights to the views "strategy and development cycles", "surveys", "model templates for organizational development paths", "reports". Ability to select the whole organisation as a recipient of input events. Import SCORM courses into the course library and edit their data. Deleting courses from the course library.

Executive
- Rights: Access to the "Reporting" view

Learning Manager
- Rights: Importing SCORM courses into the course library and editing their data. Delete courses from the course library.

Team Leader
- Rights: Access and edit rights to the "team leader" view. Create and edit team goals and review team members. Ability to mark team members' tasks as completed and create new tasks and development paths. Initiating and conducting a development discussion process with team members. Creating and editing team-level development path templates.
- Role can be granted: User administrator
Employee
- Rights: Access and edit rights to "My View", "Development Discussion" and "Online Training". Create your own development paths and tasks. Updating the status of performance targets and the possibility to create new ones if no team leader is assigned. Preparing for the development interview and completing the development interview form together with the team leader. Completing online courses from the course library. Adding new events to the feed concerning other employees. Creating and completing activities.

User manager
- Rights: Access to user administration. Ability to set roles for other users, but not root roles. Ability to edit data for all users.

Composer user
- Rights: Access to the "Composer" and "Media Bank" applications. Create, edit and publish courses. Export content to Word or XLIFF files. Translating a course into another language using an XLIFF file. Using the comments tool and sending course preview invitations. Creating course templates. Importing and editing media files in the media bank.

Commentator
- Rights:Launching a course preview via the preview link. Leave comments on the course using the commenting tool.

- Rights: Access to launch a course preview via a preview link.
